Innisfil Home Front Yard
The below gallery depicts the processes used to refresh the landscaping at Beautiful Innisfil home. We drew up plans and got approval from the client prior to commencing. We had locates done and marked out the septic system before we began the excavation. We began the excavation in the desired site staying away from the septic system as it is clay pipes. Leveled off the ground and built a retaining wall with an attached planter box and sitting area. Backfilled area with stone and a weeper for drainage. Run a Toro® irrigation system for future use. Finished backfilling with existing and new soil to the desired height. Once all retaining wall components were finished we regraded the front yard with fresh soil and a Toro® irrigation system. Finished off with new sod, supplied and installed by Brayford Sod. Nothing like instant grassification!!
Innisfil Home Backyard
This gallery shows the transformation from an unsightly hill to a beautiful Armour stone retaining wall. Met with the client to discuss overall height and length desired. Schedule locates. Once locates are completed we can safely proceed with the excavation. Excavate the desired location for the stone wall. Pre grade soil for proper drainage and compact. Place fresh gravel as the sub base. Place first row of stones to customers approval. Place weeper behind the first row of stones and lay Geotextile cloth. Continue placing stones, backfilling and compacting at each level. Once desired height is reached we confirm the clients requirements have been met. Remove or spread left over dirt (if any) around the property to achieve final grade. Spread grass seed or for instant grassification we can get new sod from Brayford Sod.
Innisfil Home Front Garden
Here are a few pictures showing the processes used to refresh a garden into a beautiful, easily maintained garden. Meet with the client and discuss layouts and materials wanted. Provide an estimate based on these requirements. Once approved set a schedule for pick up of materials and delivery to site. Layout plant material in our personal opinion of layout. Confirm with the client. Dig holes and plant the materials with new and existing soils and feed them. Place black mulch throughout to provide a clean look and to help with water retention/erosion. Trim back the maple trees to better showcase their new garden. Some of the plant materials and mulch were purchased at Bradford Greenhouses. The owners also had a Lilac bush that was impeding on the lawn maintenance and overall aesthetics of their yard. They asked me to remove this. I may have enjoyed that part a little too much!
